Museum Passes
 
The Grafton Public Library offers a variety of museum passes for public use to Grafton residents with library cards. These passes are provided through the generous support of The Friends of the Grafton Public Library.
 
Patrons can check out more than one a week except for school vacation weeks and summers; then they are limited to one per week. There must not be any fines on the account. Call the library at 508-839-4649 if you would like to reserve a pass for a specific day or for more information.
 
We offer passes to the following museums and organizations:
 
Boston Science Museum
Explore the world of science and astronomy, and enjoy some great exhibits, a planetarium, and the Mugar Omni Theater.
 
Pass Description: Date specific coupon admits 4 persons at $5 each.
Omni Theater, Planetarium, Special Shows & Parking are not covered by the pass.
 
Hours: Open daily from 9am to 5pm.
Fridays open 9am-9pm.

Children's Museum - Boston
Children of all ages will enjoy the interactive displays available at the museum. The focus is on early childhood education in the fields of science, culture, and the arts.
 
Pass Description: Date specific coupon admits up to 4 persons. Admission is $2/person.

Hours: Daily 10am-5pm, Fridays 10am-9pm
New Year's Day Noon-5pm.

Discovery Museums for Children - Acton
Two museums to explore filled with hands-on activities for children from toddlers to school-age children. The emphasis is on exploration in the fields of science and math.
 
Pass Description: Pass admit 3 people at $4.50 each to both museum on the same day.

Hours: (check website for holiday hours) Closed Mondays.
Science museum open Tues, Thurs & Fri 1-4:30pm, Weds 1-6pm Sat/Sun 9-4:30 September - June.
Summer: both museums open 9-4:30

Ecotarium - Worcester
Located in Worcester the museum has wild animals, a train, picnic areas, and lots of hands-on exhibits geared to the exploration of science for school-age children.
 
Pass Description: Pass admits 2 adults and 2 children (in one car).
Adults $4 each, Children $3 each (under 3 free), Senior Citizens $3 each.

Hours: Tue. - Sat. 10am -5pm, Sun. Noon-5pm.
Closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Garden in the Woods - Framingham
This ever-changing living museum - New England's premier wildflower garden - has more than 1600 kinds of plants, with many rare and endangered native specimens throughout the gardens, as well as the unique "New England Garden of Rare and Endangered Plants."
 
Pass Description: Each pass admits 1 person for free.
Passes are for M-W-F, T-TH, Sat, or Sun.
Limit of four passes loaned at one time.

Hours: April 15–Labor day – Visitor Center/Museum Store and Garden in the Woods trails open every day, 9-7.
Sept 2–Oct. 31 – Visitor Center/Museum Store and Garden in the Woods trails open every day, 9-5.

Higgins Armory Museum - Worcester
The Higgins Armory Museum, with 5,000 objects on four floors, is the only institution in the Northeast dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of arms and armor. A visit to the Higgins will spark your imagination with the fact behind the fairytale!
 
Pass Description: Pass admits 4 adults or children for free. Children under 6 are free.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - Boston
Visit the home of Isabella Stewart Gardner and enjoy the collections housed there. The galleries are filled with paintings, sculpture, tapestries, furniture, and decorative arts from cultures spanning thirty centuries. The interior garden is a wonderful place to visit anytime of the year.
 
Pass Description: Sat. & Sun. Pass admits 2 persons for $5 each. (2 passes may be borrowed on the same day).
Tues. - Fri. Pass admits 4 for $5 each. (only 1 pass may be borrowed each day).

Open: New Years Day, MLK Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Coumbus Day and Veterans' Day .

Museum of Fine Arts - Boston
The museum offers not only outstanding art, but innovative and exciting ways for you to interact with these masterpieces and with fellow art lovers.
 
Pass Description: We have a limited number of coupons that admit 2 persons for $5 each. Children under 6 are free.
Limit of one coupon each day.
Does not include special exhibits.
Visitors may upgrade to enter special exhibits for an additional $8, subject to availability on day of visit.

Roger Williams Park Zoo - Providence
A zoo geared for children and their parents! It is small enough to see everything in a day but large enough to provide a great variety of animals. It has a petting zoo and a barnyard zoo plus picnic facilities.
 
Pass Description: Daily passes admit up to 4 adults, Seniors or children at 50% reduced admission: ($6/4/3 Sept - June and $9/6/5 July & Aug.)

Hours: Open daily 9am-4pm Sept. through June, 9am-5pm July & Aug.
The zoo is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Tower Hill Botanic Garden - Boylston
The Worcester County Horticultural Society operates Tower Hill Botanic Garden as its headquarters on 132 acres in Boylston, Massachusetts. Here you can stroll through formal gardens, the woodlands, and explore the arboretum.
 
Pass Description: Free admission.  Four passes, each pass good for 4 people. One pass for Tuesday/Thursdays, one for Wednesdays/Fridays, one for Saturdays and one for Sundays.

Worcester Art Museum
This is a world-class art museum right in our own backyard. There are constantly changing exhibits, a large collection of Paul Revere silver and other American art, a library, and some unique permanent exhibits.
 
Pass Description: Free admission for up to 4. (Children 17 and younger are admitted free).
There are 4 returnable passes available, they are not date specific. (Limit of one pass per date.)

Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, 11AM - 5PM; Sat. 10 am to 5 pm.
Third Thursday of every month, 11AM - 8PM
