Literary Reference Center
What is it for?
This database provides articles relating to literary criticism.
How do I get to it?
1. Start at the Grafton Public Library homepage. Click Online and Digital Resources from the menu on the right.
2. Scroll down to "Literary Reference Center".
3. If you are in the library, click on Literary Reference Center.
4. If you are at work or home, from that page click the appropriate link and type in your library barcode number and click Go.
How does it work? Try it out!
Type ELIZABETH BARRETT BROWNING in the Find box and click Search. You will then get a list of articles to view ranging from biographies to criticism to book reviews and possibly images and periodicals.
If you click an article title you only get a citation. In order to see the text, click the PDF or HTML Full Text link. Once you have the article on the screen, you can print it (printouts in the library are 10¢ per page) or email it for later use. If you email it, it should be in your mailbox within minutes.

Help screens are available. They are pretty comprehensive, covering just about all aspects of searching.
Saving articles
You can save articles by clicking Add or Add to folder. To see saved articles click Folder at the top right of the screen.

The advanced search allows you choose from a wide range of limiters and to specify results in a variety of ways.
Browse
From the front page of the database you can browse by authors or titles, or by most studied authors or titles.
